My discount didn't apply, how do I get a refund?

Edited

If your discount wasn’t applied at checkout and you’ve already completed your purchase, you may be able to request a refund or price adjustment from the retailer. However, since Gocertify only handles the verification process and does not process transactions or manage orders, we cannot apply the discount retroactively or issue refunds.

What should I do?

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

1. Contact the retailer directly

  • Reach out to the retailer’s customer support team as soon as possible.

  • Explain the situation and let them know that you successfully verified as eligible for the discount but were unable to apply it during checkout.

  • If the retailer allows post-purchase adjustments, they may be able to refund the difference or offer a store credit.

2. Provide the necessary details

To speed up the process, include the following information in your request:

  • Your order number or transaction reference (found in your confirmation email)

  • Your unique discount code

  • The date and time you placed your order.

3. Check the retailer’s policy

  • Some retailers allow post-purchase discount adjustments within a certain timeframe.

  • Others may not offer refunds for missed discounts, but they may provide a discount on a future purchase.

  • If the retailer doesn’t adjust the price, you may still be able to cancel and reorder using the discount code (if the retailer’s return policy allows it).

Can Gocertify issue a refund?

No, Gocertify does not process payments or handle transactions, so we cannot issue refunds. Our role is to verify your eligibility and provide a unique discount code—any payment or refund requests must go directly to the retailer.

If you need further assistance with your verification, feel free to contact support@gocertify.me, but for refunds or price adjustments, the retailer’s support team is your best point of contact.
