Do Gocertify discounts work in-store?

Edited

Gocertify discounts are typically only valid for online purchases unless specifically stated otherwise in the terms of the offer. If you attempted to use your discount in-store and it was refused, here’s what you can do next.

1. Check if the discount is online-only

  • Unless explicitly mentioned, Gocertify-verified discounts only apply on the retailer’s website and cannot be redeemed in physical stores.

  • Review the terms and conditions of the offer on the retailer’s website to confirm whether in-store use is permitted.

2. If in-store use is allowed, speak to a store manager

If the retailer’s offer does include in-store discounts, but a staff member refused to apply it:

  • Politely ask to speak with a store manager or supervisor.

  • Show them your verification confirmation email or discount code.

  • Explain that the retailer has an online discount programme through Gocertify, and the terms should allow in-store use.

3. Contact the retailer’s customer support

If you believe the discount should have been accepted in-store:

  • Contact the retailer’s customer support team via email, phone, or live chat.

  • Provide your discount code and details of where and when you tried to use it.

  • If there was a misunderstanding, they may offer a solution, such as a price adjustment or store credit.

If you’re unsure whether the discount should be valid in-store or have issues with your verification, contact Gocertify Support at support@gocertify.me, and we’ll be happy to help.
