While we recognise that Blue Light Cards, TOTUM Cards, UNiDAYS, and Student Beans are popular discount schemes, we do not use these for verification. Here's why:

• Gocertify directly verifies eligibility through secure methods such as:

  • Work email verification

  • Student portal login

  • Document uploads

• Blue Light Cards, TOTUM, UNiDAYS, and Student Beans are membership-based discount services rather than official certification.

• Membership cards and apps can be obtained at one point in time, but they do not prove ongoing eligibility.

• You may still have an active membership card, even if they are no longer eligible.

• Gocertify ensures live verification, meaning:

  • Students must still be actively enrolled to qualify.

  • Key workers must be currently employed in an eligible sector.

• This prevents misuse and ensures discounts reach only those who qualify.

• Many retailers partner with Gocertify because we offer a more secure, independent, and brand-controlled verification process.

• Unlike discount card providers, Gocertify does not require brands to list their discounts on a third-party marketplace, ensuring full control over their customer experience.

• Retailers define their own eligibility criteria and use Gocertify to confirm real-time status without relying on third-party memberships.
